■What is “Chiba University Student Committee for Environment Management System"?
Chiba University Student Committee for Environment Management System was established in October, 2003 to take part in the development and management of the environmental administration system in Chiba University. Students participating on this committee in Chiba University, in contrast to other universities, have the opportunity to develop a range of administrative and management skills. In 2004, Nishichiba Campus was the first national university to acquire ISO14001 certification. In 2005, Matsudo and Kashiwa no ha Campus were also certified, and in 2006, Inohana Campus (which includes the Eumycetes Center but not the attached hospital and the Innovation Plaza Inohana) were too.
